A most attractive family campsite with clearly marked pitches in the shade of big trees, lies 500 metres from a vast sandy beach. Canet marina (5 minutes'walk) will take you to the town center.

A lot of lovely places have to be visited, such as Perpignan of course with its famous "Castillet", Collioure, beautiful little harbour, or also Canet's pool. A little farther, you can climb up the Canigou mountain beloved by the catalan people.

'A God-given Camping Site'

We went to the camping site 'le Bosquet de Canet-en-Roussillon', and found the landlady very welcoming. This site is very shady and the gates close at twelve, which is of great advantage and comfort to people who go out at night with their cars. The lavatories are extremely clean, and the site is of course fitted with a swimming-pool, a kids' playground, a gaming room, a sports ground, washing machines, telephone booths, and a beach access road roughly 400m long. The patrons' warmth and kindness were on a par with those of the hosting team. In a nutshell, this site won us over, and we cannot but recommend it to campers wishing to spend their holidays in this region..
